This year’s theme, “The Blossoms of OZ,” pays homage to the magical wonder of our local landscape and the timeless charm of a classic journey. Attendees can anticipate a lively parade featuring authentic handmade floats, amazing animals, and colorful displays along the yellow brick road of Sonoma County.

The festival will also showcase a lineup of bands, a variety of delicious food options, arts and crafts vendors, and numerous activities for children.The Apple Blossom Festival was initiated in 1947 by George E. Keefe, Jr., as a springtime event to celebrate Sebastopol’s rich agricultural heritage and the beauty of apple blossoms in spring.

Over the decades, it has evolved into a cherished tradition, featuring parades, live music, artisan displays, and family-friendly activities, drawing visitors from near and far to partake in the festivities.
