Dublinesque: A Celebration of Dublin in Story and Song at Occidental Center for the Arts. You will be transported to Dublin through the ages as you enjoy Irish stories and songs from this all-star ensemble of talented musicians, led by the inimitable Eamonn Flynn.
The Dublin-born singer-songwriter/pianist got his start with The Commitments, a hit film about an Irish soul band, and has since worked with Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Zigaboo Modeliste, The Ray Charles Project, and many more. The band brings together three talented Bay Area Irish traditional musicians: fellow Irishman Félim Egan (The Black Brothers) on accordion, local favorite Darcy Noonan on fiddle, and from Basque country, Spain, Hector Bragado on banjo. don’t miss this audience favorite at OCA!
