Occidental Fool’s Day Parade and Party

Community Celebration/Parade: Saturday April 4th, 2026. Occidental Fool’s Day Parade and Party! Join the village of Occidental as we celebrate 50 years of all things foolish at this annual family friendly FREE event! Frolic with the friendly locals as we parade foolishly through town, led by The Hub Bub Club marching band. Everyone is welcome to join the all-ages parade. Gather with us at the Occidental Community Center (across the street from OCA) at 12:45 pm.The parade begins at 1 PM. We’ll wind our silly way through town and then head to the FOOL’S PARTY at Occidental Center for the Arts from 1:30 – 4 pm to enjoy clowns, performance artists, kids art activities, food and drink for sale; with FREE live entertainment by CASUAL COUNTRY at 2 pm! Costume up and celebrate Spring with joy and silliness!! Supported by the Occidental Community Council and the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. Please park only in designated areas and respect the town businesses and their access to patrons. Occidental Center for the Arts, 3850 Doris Murphy Ct., Occidental, CA. 95465.
