Once In A Blue (Full) Moon Hike

Sat May 30 @ 6:15 pm - 9:30 pm
$5 – $10

Bring a flashlight and your sense of wonder as you explore the park after dark during May’s blue moon. This hike heads up to the summit of Bald Mountain, where we will see the moon rise over the Mayacamas and the sun set over Sonoma Valley. This is a strenuous hike of approximately 6.5 miles with 1500+ of vertical and some steep sections (not recommended for children under 12).

Meet at the White Barn parking lot at least 10 minutes prior to the start time. Advance registration is $10 for general admission, or $5 for youth (12-17 year olds), students, Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf or RFO volunteers. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You must register on this page to attend; tickets on site are $15 (exact change only) and might not be available. Bring your flashlight, at least a quart of water, snacks, and extra layers for the evening. Parking fees apply.
