This is SUP Yoga the Petaluma way—right downtown, deeply local, and rooted in our river.

SUP Yoga at The Floathouse Petaluma invites locals to slow down and experience the Petaluma River as part of everyday life. Though we launch from the heart of downtown, the central turning basin holds a special calm. Once you’re on the water, the noise drops away and the river becomes what many of us love most about Petaluma: peaceful, welcoming, and shared.

Sessions are gentle and all-levels, designed for neighbors as much as newcomers. We begin with a short, easy paddle from the docks to get comfortable on your board (knees are always welcome), then anchor together so tidal movement won’t interrupt your flow. From there, you’re free to move, stretch, breathe, rest—or simply float—guided by expert instruction and supported by community.

Morning sessions (9:30–11:00 am) are a beautiful way to start the day—flow first, then roll into coffee, brunch, errands, or a riverside walk. Friday evening sessions ease you into the weekend, offering a chance to unwind on the water before heading out for dinner, music, or a sunset stroll downtown.

All equipment is provided, including wide, ultra-stable paddleboards. No prior yoga or paddleboarding experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
