In the five short years Jack London lived at Beauty Ranch, he imagined it on a grand scale. That vision took root and endured through the labor, intelligence, and perseverance of two key women, Charmian Kittredge London and Eliza Shepard — who stewarded the dream, land, and legacy through upheaval and change, long after Jack London was gone. This two-hour tour of Beauty Ranch and the House of Happy Walls Museum invites visitors to step into their stories and discover how vision became an enduring reality.
