GO LOCAL Gift Memberships
Share your LOVE for GO LOCAL by gifting a GO LOCAL membership in 2026!
Each current paying member or supporter can GIVE A FREE MEMBERSHIP to one other qualified business or nonprofit in 2026 at no cost to you or them!
If you’re interested in joining GO LOCAL to take advantage of this, join, and then nominate!
TWO EASY STEPS:
1. PICK A RECIPIENT
- Select from businesses or nonprofits not currently members. Scan the current member list – so you know who’s already a part of GO LOCAL. Or you can flip through our current Pocket Guide which also lists current members by industry categories.
- Must be eligible for GO LOCAL membership (locally owned business…see criteria at https://golocal.coop/how-businesses-can-participate/)
- Must not have been a GO LOCAL member in the past 3 years (since 2023).
- Eligible for member tiers up to $500 value; business must be under $2M in annual Sonoma County sales.
- Our 2025 Top Sponsors may gift up to 3 memberships.
2. SUBMIT THEIR BUSINESS NAME
Requirements
To receive this gift membership, the nominated business or organization must be willing to meet either by phone, zoom or in-person with GO LOCAL prior to March 1, 2026 to confirm their interest and commitment in this membership. It would help if you confirm this with your nominee in advance.
GO LOCAL will then set up a time to meet with the recommended business to confirm eligibility and interest, set them up as members, and let them know who nominated them.
The nomination period is open from 1/16/2026 to 2/21/2026. These free memberships will be active through March 2027, after which the recipient business will have the option to continue as a paying member.
